Born in Dallas, TX, Chad Everett Cox, MD has since lived in all corners of the United States. Over the years he has called Texas, Colorado, Northern California, Florida, Southern California and Arkansas ‘home.’ In July 2016, beginning a new chapter of life, Chad was thrilled to move to beautiful North Carolina with his family.

Doctor Cox attended UCLA and received undergraduate degrees in Classical Civilizations and Biology. Chad’s keen interest in finding solutions, biological sciences and a desire to contribute something to the greater good of this world led him naturally to medicine. He went on to earn his medical degree in 1998 at the University of Arkansas, a medical program known for producing competent and self-sufficient generalists. Being the only tertiary care center for the entire state, this experience proved to be extremely broad and deep. Doctor Cox completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena and has been Board Certified Internal Medicine since 2001.

A self-described “family man” Chad spends his free time with his wife and three children; a 12 year old son, 7 year old daughter and 4 year old daughter. His hobbies include travel, running, hiking, science fiction/fantasy novels and movies, Spotify (classical and alternative music), tooling around on his iPad, and visiting museums. He also hopes to learn the game of tennis!
