Annual Physical Exam Checklist

At Generations Family Practice, our annual physical exams are focused on prevention, keeping a close eye on your family medical history in order to catch potential health issues before they begin.

We’ll take the time to ensure that our patients get the right wellness and preventative care — starting with your annual exam.

Scheduling a yearly check-up for yourself, spouse or child? Here are a few things you can expect us to cover during your comprehensive medical exam:

  • Medical history
  • Vaccination status
  • Vital signs, including blood pressure & temperature
  • Reflexes
  • Heart exam
  • Lung exam & respiration rate
  • Head exam, including sinuses, ears, nose, eyes
  • Neck exam, including lymph nodes & thyroids
  • Abdominal exam

During your annual physical exam, your Generations Family Practice physician will also answer any medical questions you may have and address, listen to health concerns and ensure that your needs are taken care of. However, addressing health concerns during your Medicare annual wellness exam/physical may incur an added office visit charge, as areas of concern are not considered “wellness” and do not fall under your insurance wellness benefit. You may be responsible for a co-pay, co-insurance or deductible charges.
